Spatial Assemblage is an interior practice lead by Astrid Chastka - a set designer and stylist with 15 years of experience spearheading artistic and spatial projects reaching far beyond set design to include art direction, installations, and of course interiors. Astrid’s degree in architecture and previous experience as co-founder/creative director of both a clothing brand and a jewelry line offer a deep and varied well of design experience. Astrid believes that the most exciting ideas can be generated in the gray area where multiple visual fields meet. She is constantly exploring new ways to weave connections between her current projects and materials and processes learned in her previous experience.

She views interiors as assemblages of thoughtful textures, colors, materials, and objects to create livable spaces that reflect the multifaceted personalities of her clients and respect the environment we all live in.

Spatial Assemblage creates refined and eclectic interiors fit for comfortable daily life. We value a the collaborative nature of the design process and specialize in thoughtful and sustainably-minded interior spaces and working within a wide range of scope and budget.
